This is a project I completed entirely by myself to help raise donations for restoring a historic music store in Helena, Arkansas. Gist has been a cornerstone of the local music scene for decades, and preserving it means keeping that heritage alive. I collected memories, shot the B-roll, and edited the footage to capture those stories and inspire support for the restoration.

For the reels I created for Helena, I handled nearly every step of the process myself. Shooting most of the footage on location to editing the final cuts. I focused on capturing authentic moments, strong visuals, and natural movement that reflect the personality of the community, then shaped them into fast-paced, engaging reels designed for social media. Each video encapsulates what Helena has to offer, from their food, live music, and outdoor activities.
